My ii900/ii910 is not recognized by my PC when connecting via the USB. What should I do?

The purpose of this article is to help you connect the ii900 to PC via USB port to download images to computer. 

Q:  My ii900/ii910 is not recognized by my PC when connecting via the USB.  What should I do?

A:  The recognition of the ii900 series imager might in some rare cases be conflicting with other connected mass storage devices.

As such we recommend customers who face this issue the following:

  1. Disconnect/Remove any other connected mass storage devices.
  2. Remove any USB hub and connect the USB cable direct to the PC.
  3. First connect the USB cable, after that switch on the imager (so do not switch on the unit before connecting the USB cable).
